<SLY> Ladybug Zaida ...long forgotten beach, so very long ago. The statue holds out its hand to her, offering to dance. Zaida takes his hand, and her power washes over the statue. Stone turned to flesh...

<SLY> Ladybug Zaida Light and life flooded into his eyes; his lips curled into the familiar grin that was always her's and her's alone. Together, the two danced around the main room - the music livening & their pace.

<SLY> Ladybug Zaida ...quickening, ever faster. Zaida began to laugh - a hearty laughter that rose above the music, singing out the joy she had at that moment.

<SLY> Ladybug Zaida She beamed up into Ari's face and leaned in, placing a quick kiss on his cheek - for old time's sake. The coldness of the stone pressed against her lips broke the illusion... She pulled back...

<SLY> Ladybug Zaida ...looking into the stone statue's solid, unmoving face. Its features looked through her, distant. The music had stopped as abruptly as the illusion ceased.

 <SLY> Ladybug Zaida The statues returned to their posts and froze again. Zaida sighed and walked out of the room, heading down to the basement into her training area - feeling a sudden urge to want to...

 <SLY> Ladybug Zaida ...want to take her feelings out on a poor helpless training dummy. "Today," thought Zaida, "I think I'll use the knives." For hours on end, she hacked and stabbed at the training dummy.

 <SLY> Ladybug Zaida When the dummy had withstood all it could stand, it crumpled to the training room floor in a heap. Zaida collapsed next to it, a pathetic mess herself.

 <SLY> Ladybug Zaida She breathed hard, exhausted - her arms felt as if they were made of lead. She laid on the floor, still. In the time Zaida had been away, she managed to gain control over her abilities - old & ne

 <SLY> Ladybug Zaida *new. Zaida blinked and a field of ice formed underneath her, cooling her off and easing her muscles simultaneously. She stayed there until every pain had eased off. Finally getting back to...

 <SLY> Ladybug Zaida ...something close to 'normal,' Zaida teleported out of the room and upstairs for a long hot bath & a nice long nap.

Sorry it's been almost a year, y'all!  I've been so busy.  Since the last post, I was pregnant, had a kid, and now am a mommy to an almost-2-month-old little darling! :D  HL has taken a serious back-seat. ^^'  I'll try to update as I can and come up with new little story threads for you.
